Education: Stacey Esslinger received her B.F.A. in May, 2005 from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University, Alfred, NY. During the summer of 2002 Stacey traveled to China to study traditional Chinese ceramics.

Residency: In the summer of 2005 Stacey participated in the ceramic residency program at the historic Byrdcliffe Artist Colony in Woodstock, NY. During her residency Stacey also taught slab-building classes to local community members.
